Absolutely!
Our e-bike tours are perfect for anyone looking for a leisurely e-bike ride guided by information packed guides ready to accommodate any ability levels. These tours take place on Acadia National Park’s carriage roads. These are gravel roads with no more than 5% grades, our fat tire e-bikes can handle this with ease. Your bike tour guides will have the ability to decide on route depending on the weather and needs of the group.
Our e-bikes can be ridden on Acadia National Park’s Carriage Roads and the Park Loop Road. The carriage roads include 47 miles of gravel roads with 17 bridges and beautiful views around every corner. We have found that 4 hours is plenty of time to explore the area and take time for breaks. Our staff can offer many recommendations on where to peddle and how long it should take.
Please note you can not go up Cadillac Mountain on our e-bikes.
We offer a range of e-Bike rentals designed for riders of all ages from infants to adults!
Our Rad Power eBikes are ideal for teens and adults ages 14 and up who are ready to explore the scenic carriage roads. These bikes support riders up to 275 lbs and are suitablefor those 5'2-6'2.
For younger adventurers, we have the Woom Up series:
Traveling with little ones? Our RadWagon is a family favorite! It can carry up to two child seats on the back (up to 120 lbs combined) and has a total weight capacity of 350 lbs, making it a safe and comfortable choice for parents riding with young children.
For riders who prefer extra stability, the RadTrike offers a fun, easygoing option. This three-wheeled e-Bike is perfect for anyone who may have balance concerns but still wants to enjoy the ride.
Generally, 1-2 weeks prior to your Acadia vacation you should book online.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement during your ride. Shorts or athletic pants work best—just avoid skirts or anything with loose fabric that could get caught in the bike. For footwear, sneakers or closed-toe shoes are ideal. We suggest avoiding flip-flops or sandals, as they don’t offer the best support or protection for biking.
Each rental includes a small backpack, water, a map, and helmets.
To make the most of your adventure, we also suggest bringing along a few extras:
